CC Sabathia Magical Run Carries Brewers to Postseason

On July 7, 2008, the Milwaukee Brewers acquired LHP CC Sabathia from the Cleveland Indians in order to make a push for the postseason. Sabathia made 17 starts for Milwaukee that year going 11-2 with a 1.65 ERA in 130.2 innings pitched. He wound up pitching on three days rest for the majority of the 2nd half of the season and pitched the Brewers into the postseason.
