WHITECAPS MEDIA DAY SET FOR MONDAY

COMSTOCK PARK, MI – – Thursday, April 29**th** – – The West Michigan Whitecaps have scheduled their 2021 Media Day for Monday, May 3, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Media Day begins after the conclusion of a Whitecaps workout, taking place from 11:00 am–12:30 pm to welcome Minor League Baseball back to LMCU Ballpark. Gates open to media only at

10:30 a.m. with Media Day following the workout at 1:00pm.

Due to COVID-19 and an abundance of caution, this workout will not be open to the public.

The Media Day event will provide members of the media a rare opportunity for socially distanced in-person access to the 2021 team. All media personnel are advised to enter LMCU Ballpark through Gate C. Be sure to wear your mask.

Manager Brayan Pena, along with coaches, players, and front office personnel, will be available for questions at approximately 1:00 pm from on top of the Whitecaps first-base dugout. Players scheduled to speak to the media include Spencer Torkelson, Dillon Dingler, Danny Cabrera, and any other players or coaches by request. 1-on-1 interviews will be available at a separate location inside LMCU Ballpark following the Player Q&A sessions.

The Whitecaps begin the 2021 season in Fort Wayne on Tuesday, May 4, to visit the TinCaps before returning to LMCU Ballpark to face the Great Lakes Loons for their home-opener on Tuesday, May 11 at 6:35 pm.
