The 20-year-old added a pair of singles to finish September batting .386/.442/.600 with nine extra-base hits and 14 RBIs. It was the first game with multiple extra-base hits this season for the Georgia native. Meadows, the brother of Rays All-Star Austin Meadows, showed flashes of the offensive potential that made him a second-round selection in 2018 with 26 extra-base hits, but struggled at the dish in 2021 with a .622 OPS.
