Greene had just missed a homer to the same area in the first inning, sending a 413-foot triple to the center-field fence. He came up in the ninth after Victor Reyes hit a game-tying drive to right field off Joel Payamps. Greene followed with a 432-foot drive to near-straightaway center field.
While his triple would’ve been a home run in 22 other Major League parks, according to Statcast, no ballpark would’ve contained his walk-off drive, nor his exuberance as he rounded the bases and received a celebration at home plate.
