Friday Open Thread: What are you thankful for as a Tigers fan?

Bless You Boys

With this being Thanksgiving week it seems appropriate to take a moment to focus on what we are most thankful for as Tigers fans. Let’s be honest, the last few years it has been difficult to find things to get excited for, but even though the Tigers didn’t make the postseason, 2023 left us with a lot to be thankful for.

In our open thread today let’s give thanks for all the positives of this season and the year ahead. Personally, I’m grateful for new management and seeing what they’re going to do in seasons to come, I’m grateful I got to witness the best years of Miguel Cabrera’s career and watch him retire in a moving fashion, and I’m grateful about getting excited over players who I barely knew existed a season ago. Kerry Carpenter? Who would have thought back in 2022 he’d be such a standout? I can’t wait to see what these guys do in 2024.

Chime in below with what you’re most grateful for. And no airing of grievances! We’ll do a Festivus post later in December!

If you feel like you have a lot you want to share, please consider making a FanPost!
