Well friends, we survived Christmas, and now we’re here, the final Friday Open Thread of 2024. It seems wild to realize that we’ve come to the end of another year, and somehow the most future-sounding year imaginable is ahead: 2025.
With time to reflect on the year that’s behind us, we want to know what you’d like the Tigers to leave in 2024, or what changes you’d like them to bring in 2025. In other words: make a few resolutions for the Tigers to take into the new year.
Perhaps you think they should stop targeting aging starting pitchers in the free agent market? Well, you should have asked for that sooner. Maybe you’d like a more traditional five-starter rotation for next season rather than throwing out anyone who can throw a ball faster than 80mph and seeing how long they last. There are plenty of things to hope for next season, so the sky is the limit.
