POLL: How do you feel about the Detroit Tigers’ chances this season?

POLL: How do you feel about the Detroit Tigers’ chances this season?

Bless You Boys

The beginning of the spring training schedule is right around the corner, with the Detroit Tigers opening up their 2025 preseason against the Philadelphia Phillies in Lakeland on Friday, Feb. 22. Then the real deal starts on Thursday, March 27, when they travel west for the MLB opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Last season, AJ Hinch’s team made the playoffs for the first time in a decade thanks to an improbable late-season tear that lasted until the American League Divisional Series, where the Cleveland Guardians ended their season with a 3-2 series win. Ace pitcher Tarik Skubal also took home some hardware, earning the American League Cy Young Award for his superlative efforts.

This past offseason, the franchise added a quartet of free agents to try and bolster the roster for another postseason run. Alex Cobb, Gleyber Torres and Tommy Kahnle represent three of the newcomers while Jack Flaherty returns for another stint in the D. The fanbase is still waiting to see if Alex Bregman can be lured to Comerica Park as well.

So how are you feeling about this year’s edition of the Old English D? Mark your answer in the poll below and explain your pick in the comments!
