Tyler Holton’s journey to Detroit had its twists and turns. In Chasing the Dream, presented by Rocket, Holton recalls his excitement to play for Florida State, a dream he had as a child, and how being drafted to an MLB team was more than he ever imagined was possible. After being acquired by the Tigers, Holton didn’t know where his future stood, but he thrived in the Motor City, becoming a reliable bullpen arm for the Tigers over the last few seasons.
“The Tigers have helped me just by giving me every opportunity to succeed. We have an amazing coaching staff and team here that has the same dream – we want to win. I just want to do my part and it’s going to be a long road ahead but don’t quit, keep going, have faith and be the best teammate you can be.”
