David “The Bullet” Smith Jr. is the Human Cannonball and was at Fifth Third Ballpark on July 29, 2017.

Tonight’s Applebee’s Grill & Bar Hometown Hero is Griffin Jax, member of the Air Force and current Cedar Rapids Kernels pitcher. Jax graduated from the Air Force Academy and is on 60 days paid leave before he must report on July 29 to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
