1969 World Series, Game 3: Orioles @ Mets

MLB Vault
Baltimore Orioles 0 at New York Mets 5, F — With the Series tied one and one, the “Miracle Mets” were back at Shea Stadium and ready to take the lead. Tommie Agee got the momentum going with a home run to lead off the bottom of the first. In the fourth inning, with runners on the corners and two outs in the fourth, Agee would amaze again with an over-the-shoulder grab at the wall to end the inning. And he wasn’t finished there. With bases loaded in the seventh inning, Agee made a diving grab of a line drive in right-center. The Orioles would remain scoreless thanks in part to Tommy Agee, while the Mets scored four more runs in the game, taking the lead in the Series.
