Barnhart traded to Tigers for 3B prospect

The Tigers acquired catcher Tucker Barnhart from the Reds in exchange for third-base prospect Nick Quintana, the teams announced on Wednesday.

Barnhart, who has a $7.5 million team option for 2022, is a two-time Gold Glove winner behind the plate with a career .248/.324/.371 slash line to go along with 51 home runs in 744 games across parts of eight seasons.
