Tigers introduce Scott Harris as president of baseball operations

The Tigers today introduce their new president of baseball operations, Scott Harris.

Harris, 36, comes to Detroit after three seasons as general manager of the San Francisco Giants. The Tigers announced Harris’ hiring on Monday. He follows Al Avila, who was fired last month as the Tigers’ vice president and general manager.
