Originally aired during the spring of 1984. WDIV was and is the NBC affiliate in Detroit, Michigan.
At this time, WDIV was the carrier for Detroit Tiger baseball and this graphic was used after a Tigers victory. This clip is a little different than the ones already on the web in that the Tiger is crunching the bat to pieces, rather than swinging it with its mouth as in later years.
