Detroit Tigers

Tigers right-hander Julio Teheran was scratched from his scheduled start against the Indians on Friday night after feeling tightness in his triceps during his pregame throwing progression.

With Teheran out, left-hander Derek Holland got the start for the opener of a three-game series at Progressive Field. Holland had started the season in the bullpen.
