Toledo Mud Hens 10, Louisville Bats 3 (box)
The Hens pounded out seven doubles in this one, overcoming a slow start to run away from the Bats on Wednesday. Daz Cameron had one of them and was in the thick of the scoring, collecting two hits and a walk. JaCoby Jones doubled and singled and both he and Cameron racked up a pair of RBI. SS Cole Peterson really helped set the table with three doubles, and he scored three times. Zack Short, Derek Hill each doubled as well and were on base three times apiece. Yariel Gonzalez’s solo shot in the fourth inning was the game’s only home run.
Logan Shore gave up a pair of runs in four innings of work, while Alex Lange had a wild inning in relief featuring a single, two walks, a run allowed, and three strikeouts. Ian Krol, Jason Foley, Nolan Blackwood, and Robbie Ross Jr. all threw scoreless innings of relief.

Altoona Curve 3, Erie SeaWolves 2 (box)
The offense just couldn’t get anything going in this one. Altoona got on the board in the third against Joe Navilhon as Erie put together a bullpen day. John Valente singled to lead off the fifth and eventually scored on a Dane Myers ground out in the fifth. Myers reached on a fielders choice and later scored on a Jon Rosoff double. Otherwise the SeaWolves were quiet. Henry Martinez took the loss, allowing a pair of runs on four hits in the sixth that carried the Curve to victory. Riley Greene walked, struck out twice, and was caught stealing.

West Michigan Whitecaps 1, Lake County Captains 0 (Final/10)(box)
The Whitecaps were recipients of a balk off victory on Wednesday. After a closely pitched game with scarce offense, DH Reynaldo Rivera scored on a balk by Captains’ reliever Trevin Esquerra in the 10th inning for the game winner. OF Daniel Cabrera doubled and walked, while Rivera singled for their only two hits of the game, though each of the top five hitters in the Whitecaps’ lineup walked in the game. Beau Briske started the game and threw a strong six innings. Yaya Chentouf handled the ninth and tenth with a walk and three strikeouts to earn the win.

Lakeland Flying Tigers 10, Fort Myers Mighty Mussels 9 (Final/10) (box)
This was a wild back and forth game that the Mussels came back to tie in the ninth, and ultimately lost after scoring in the top of the 10th. OF Eric De La Rosa and Kingston Liniak had the game tying and game winning singles to walk this one off.
Lakeland got off to a good start. CF Kingston Liniak launched a solo shot to left to start off the bottom of the first. Gage Workman and Wenceel Perez singled, and then moved up on a double steal. Cooper Johnson singled home Workman and Perez scored on a Nick Quintana ground out to make it 3-0 after one.
The Mussels scored in the third, and then knocked starter Joseph Salazar out of the game with a six-run fourth inning. The Flying Tigers started the comeback a bit when Perez doubled home Workman in the fifth. Jimmy Kerr lifted a two-run homer in the sixth, and was followed later in the frame by a two-run double from Cooper Johnson that scored Liniak and Workman. That gave them a one-run lead that held until things got interesting in the late innings. Bryce Tassin took the blown save, while Carson King allowed his inherited runner to score in the 10th but ultimately claimed the win.
