FanPost Friday: Create your perfect All-Star roster

Bless You Boys

It’s almost time for the All-Star Game, which means all discussion seems to revolve around who made it, who got snubbed, and what on earth we’re going to do for the rest of the days off surrounding the game. Sure, there’s the Home Run Derby, the Draft, the Futures Game and even the Celebrity Softball match (I am apparently old enough that I don’t know who the Global Social Media Stars are, but I know they’re just trying to avoid calling them TikTok stars).

Of course, All-Star selection time is a great opportunity to feel disappointed that more players from your team didn’t make the cut (sorry about your snubs, Schoop and Baddoo), even if they rightly deserved to be there.

So in today’s return of FanPost Fridays, we’re going to make it even more difficult. We want you to make your ideal roster of 2021 All-Stars, without choosing a single player from your favorite team.

How you build the rest of the roster is up to you. You can go all AL, all NL, mix it up… but no Tigers players are allowed.

Take the list below, copy and paste it into a new FanPost here, and tell us who you would pick, and if you’ve chosen some pretty bold choices, tell us why! We’ve also added an option for manager, even though we know how All-Star Managers are selected, because it’s just fun, okay? Let’s go!
