COMSTOCK PARK, MI – The West Michigan Whitecaps ballgame for Wednesday night against the Lansing Lugnuts has been postponed due to inclement weather at LMCU Ballpark.
Rain showers swept through West Michigan throughout Wednesday, leading up to the first pitch of the initially scheduled ballgame. With storms set to continue throughout the evening, the decision was made to postpone a Whitecaps game for the fourth time this season.
Wednesday’s game will be made up in a Friday doubleheader beginning at 5:35 pm. Both games will last seven innings, with a 30-minute break in-between contests. Friday is scheduled to be the fourth doubleheader for West Michigan this season. Friday will mark the second twin bill between the Lugnuts and ‘Caps this season, as the two teams split a pair of games in West Michigan on April 14.
