Another day, another postponement.

The Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians postponed Monday’s game, scheduled for 6:40 p.m., because of inclement weather at Comerica Park in Detroit. The Tigers have postponed back-to-back games.

There will be a straight doubleheader Tuesday for the first two games of the three-game series, the team announced Monday afternoon. The straight doubleheader is expected to begin at 1:10 p.m. The series finale is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Wednesday.

The Tigers enter Tuesday’s doubleheader looking to build on a three-game winning streak.

They beat the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday before returning to Comerica Park and taking down the Giants in a pair of 11-inning games, thanks to walk-off hits from Nick Maton (home run) and Miguel Cabrera (single).

The Tigers have an off day Thursday, then hit the road for six games against the Baltimore Orioles (Friday-Sunday) at Camden Yards at Oriole Park and Milwaukee Brewers (Monday-Wednesday) at American Family Field.
